Rachel Lange founded Ocean Equine Training LLC in 2023 hosted at Red Valley Ranch in New Egypt, NJ. OET started with two rescue ponies, Daisy and Toby, who have thrived under our care. 

Rachel Lange has over a decade of experience in the equestrian world. She has trained and competed in English Equitation, Hunter/Jumpers, and Eventing. She also competed on the Stockton University IHSA team while earning her B.S. of Accounting. Rachel began her teaching career in 2017, and spent most of 2022 in Los Angeles training under an upper level event rider while continuing to teach at the Hansen Dam Horse Park. After moving back to New Jersey, Rachel created OET and continues to train under top-riders and compete in eventing.

Our facilities feature a large, lit sand arena complete with jumps, a small sand arena, stone dust 1/2 mile track, on-property trails, and miles of county managed trails within walking or trailer distance. We are located at 14 Province Line Rd, New Egypt, NJ 08533.

OET is located just 17 minutes from the Horse Park of New Jersey (HPNJ), providing year-round opportunities to school and show. During the winter months, weekly lesson trips to HPNJ’s indoor arena are also available, giving riders continued access to quality training no matter the weather.
